About a month ago, I noticed an entry on Barry’s blog that said he had several copies he wanted to see given away as prizes from other blogs.  I said, “Hey!  WE have a blog!  Maybe he would send us a signed copy to offer as a prize!”  Sure enough, Mr. Lyga has come through and I have on my desk a single copy of his book  Hero Type that YOU can win.  Here’s how to win:

1) Submit an original short piece of writing or an piece of art that tells us what “HERO” means to you.  All creations appropriate for public viewing will be displayed on the website.  (You can bring it to the front desk in person).  BE SURE THAT WHAT YOU SUBMIT IS SOMETHING THAT YOU WOULD AGREE TO HAVE UP ON THE WEBSITE.

2) Once you submit your piece (either a story or some art), your name will be entered into a draw to win the book.  Be sure to submit your work no later than October 27th. The winner of the book will be announced at the October Assembly on the 28th.
