Anti-Racism Rally: There will be a rally at the Alberta Legislature on Wednesday, March 21st, from 12Noon – 1PM, to coincide with the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. If you are interested in attending this rally please sign-up with Cliff in Student Services. There is only room for 5-8 students. The fieldtrip will be from 1130AM – 130PM.

A list of questions or tasks will be posted on random days throughout the week in the announcements. You can only win on the day that the questions are posted. Take your answers to the questions to Stephanie in the Social room where you will be awarded points for correct answers. Your name will be added to a tally sheet where your points will be tracked. 10 correct answers will = 1 point. We will be awarding a grand prize at the end of the semester to the student with the most points – an Ipod touch!!!
Daily prizes will vary. On some days there will be no prizes, only points!! Today, we will be giving away 5 $5 gift certificates to Subway. The first 5 students to answer the following questions correctly will win! 1 point will be awarded for each correct answer.

Monday, Mar 12th
School sweatlodge ceremony- Sign up with your homeroom for Monday March 19th, first 10 students. Leave school at 9:15 and return at 3 pm, lunch is served at the sweat site. Men should wear shorts and bring towel, women wear long outfit that covers legs and bring towel. School can help supply for some individuals, if needed ask Tim.

Bold Eagle Presentation – Canadian Armed Forces information session Tuesday March 6th at 11am conference room. Bold Eagle is a program for Aboriginal youth who want to experience what it is like to enter the military over the summer months.
